As a Native Hawaiian myself my tutu has taught me that we are the host of Hawaii and we learn through our education and love of aina that we are the protectors. It is of major importance to spread the love of aina, so Hawaii and the native plants will thrive and the deeper love for aina momona (sustainable earth) will penetrate the hearts and minds of all and their Ohana to keep our Hawaii but also our rich earth and soil abundant with plants safe and intact. I have been involved in nonprofit work since 2008, volunteering, learning, and immersing in the giving to our communities. It is literally the best way to be a part of humanity in an organized and higher intentional way of accountability. I am so honored to be in a position as Director of Programs and Treasurer in the founding of Malama Pono Nui Loa. I hope to bring all my Imperial aloha upbringing, my skills and experiences to the service of others.
